SpursATX is a side-project of freelance web designer Dan Govea and his three friends who shall rename nameless (you can see them posting as Adrian, Obed, and Slimjoe).
Why a Spurs blog?
Because I wanted to. Also, because I’ve been a Spurs fan pretty much my entire life and since I’ve had a child I find getting out to my friends house a lot harder. Which means I have no where to vent my anger and trash talk. So I decided I can use my skills as a web designer to give my friends and I a much louder voice and I can get stuff off my chest too.
Who Writes This… Stuff?
The writing responsibilities are pretty evenly divided between myself and my friends as a whole. We don’t take this very seriously so you’ll often find grammatical errors, slang, and all kinds of craziness in the posts. If this offends you, then go read ESPN for all I care. However, if the topic itself offends you; let us know in the comments. We promise to humiliate you in a timely manner.

This blog uses the WordPress weblog system as both a blogging platform and CMS. It also represents an experiment on my part to see how viable WordPress is as a CMS for my clients sites (the answer is VERY). So please excuse the odd error or bug as I often test things out on this site before applying them to my paying clients sites.
